Transformation inspires artist Andrea Mihalik. The Philadelphia-based creative behind Wild Chairy finds antique chairs with good bones, and then refurbishes and rebuilds them. Covering them in wild, bold and impactful prints, she is extending the life of each piece, and her practice is truly green. I met Andrea at The Architectural Digest Home Show, where here second life salvations were on display. A bit funky meets quirky and whimsical, the pieces she rehabilitates find their way into good homes. Visit her website to see what she happens to have at the moment.

These are terrific! Love the Trina Turk!
I love them. The bold fabrics with the vintage chairs are a great counterpoint.

Love the boldness of colour...but mostly the use of "cast-off" items. Well done, thanks for this one. Happy Thursday:)
I love her work also been following her since Marmalade live like you did a piece on her. I do something similar on much smaller scale. Jealous of her studio
