John Derian, the East Village decoupage artist and arbiter of comfortable well -worn living, has done a capsule collection of six pieces of upholstered furniture for Bergdorf Goodman. Linen covered easy pieces add lounge worthy comfort to any family room. The collection is available through the summer. Get thee to the 7th floor and peruse!!!

The furniture has an Eco savvy side. Soy-based foam, non-toxic glues and FSC certified maple wood frames are used, and it is all hand-made in the United States.

Pieces were based on antiques Derian loves, and their simple silhouettes are easy to incorporate into classic and modern casual interiors.

The textiles that cover the pieces are linen, vintage grain sack fabric and kilims.
