Manhattan Magazine asked me which designer we should all be watching this fall. All eyes are on LA-based Brit darling Martyn Lawrence Bullard, who is busy taping a new show Million Dollar Decorator for Bravo among other things. A rug collection with the Rug Company, a fabric collection, custom furniture line and star clients like Cher and Kid Rock keep him busy and bouncing from continent to continent, doing a 12th century castle restoration in Umbria and the Jimmy Choo corporate headquarters in London. He is sought out for his global glam and ethnic chic style in addition to his personal approach and great flair. To top it all off, he was just awarded The Andrew Martin International Interior Designer of the Year in London and will be feted in LA on October 18th. Congratulations Martyn!
