Bergdorf Goodman's home floor is done up in Fortuny for fall. With upholstered walls, decorative pillows and L'objet porcelain and accessories in Fortuny patterns, the floor was reinvented with Venetian treasures. The lush, mysteriously produced Italian fabrics have the allure of history and beauty that is beloved the world over.

Gorgeous decorative boxes made of Fortuny fabrics with gold borders

A cabinet finished in fabric filled with pillows and scented L'Objet candles

Fabric covered journals- molto Italian!

A seating area with a whimsical sofa is surrounded by beautiful Fortuny clad standing lamps

Venetian handblown glasses sit beside gilded fish candle stick holders

More boxes- beyond!

Gilt and persimmon colored canape plates gleam on a bar

A sumptuous tablesetting with silk napkins

A romantic table for two

Rich purples, oranges and deep reds mix with gold flecked Fortuny printed porcelain

The best of Venice comes to New York-- get it while you can

I love Fortuny fabrics, though I favor some patterns and colorways more than others. I hope they will go back to their extensive archives and reissue some of their treasures. This looks wonderful at Bergdorfs.

Lovely Fortuny! I featured Fortuny last week. We are birds of a feather!

I am looking forward to seeing all in person at Berdorf's in a couple of weeks.

Thank you for more great Fortuny inspiration.

The fabric-wrapped mirror REALLY caught my eye. I love that!!! Fortuny is always fun, and they do it best.
Have a great day!
