MALLY SKOK PRINTS CHARMING

Mally Skok, an interior designer, felt the pull of fabric design over 10 years ago. When she went for a visit with someone she long admired for his British style sense, Robert Kime, the spark was ignited. After going to his London shop she realized textiles were an area she loved, so she began collecting ikat fabrics at antique stores and fairs. While she continued to design interiors in Lincoln, Massachusetts, she felt the pull towards doing her own line.
After an inspiring trip to India with a friend, she got the urge to begin painting designs for fabrics of her own. In 2009, the India Collection was born. She teamed up with Peter Fasano and her fabrics are hand screened in his Great Barrington, Massachusetts studio. She decided to keep the fabric production local, working with the artisans at the Fasano studio, and has forged ahead. Mally has used Peter's fabrics in her design projects over the years, and felt his studio's knowledge and expertise made it the perfect fit for her. They can do custom colors as well as outdoor fabrics. It is carried at Brunschwig and Fils, check them out!
