DESIGN ON A DIME'S BIGGEST YEAR YET

Every year, Design on a Dime gets better! This year, it's seventh, looks to be its best yet. With co-chairs Nate Berkus, Iman, Lara Spencer and Charlotte Moss leading the charge, 50 designer vignettes are going to be filled with incredible deals. Located at the vast Metropolitan Pavilion, at 123 West 18th Street, there will be plenty to see and buy, including donated photography on exhibition.
Housing Works charity benefits those living with HIV/AIDS and provides them with support and community. It is a great organization and I really look forward to scoring some deals this Thursday night. Anne Maxwell Foster and Suysel de Pedro Cunningham, the girls of Tilton Fenwick were recently part of the Trad Home Lonny online magazine new traditionals to watch list, and they were asked by Traditional Home to create their vignette. Their inspiration is the desk of a design blogger, so I can't wait to see that!

this is so cool. Charlotte Moss was one of the true pioneers of this "design vignettes for charity" idea many moons ago, when she served as a trustee at Irvington Institute for Immunological Research -- and they had an elegant thrift shop on the UES. Brava Charlotte, and all the participating designers, and co-chairs. Thanks for sharing.
