OSCAR DE LA RENTA HOME WILL BE GROWING...

Oscar de la Renta's furniture collection with Century Furniture was launched several years ago. Last year, new additions were created, many of the pieces were upholstered in his signature lipstick red. Headed up by creative director Miles Redd, Oscar home collections have been designed with Lunt for silver and home accessories, and rugs with Elson and Company. Always keeping good design in mind, they mixed materials like mother of pearl, turquoise and ebony, used rubbed finishes and small repeats for upholstery. The furniture inspiration comes from his homes in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, his New York apartment, and his Litchfield Connecticut home. This fall, he expands into the world of luscious home fabrics with a new collection with Lee Jofa.
