TIMOTHY WHEALON'S SUMMER GETAWAY

Elle Decor has really embraced new media! They are making their June issue available in a digital format for bloggers to upload stories they want to share. They used Zinio, the same reader program used by Lonny and Quest Magazines. As it happens, this is their biggest June issue, so it is even more fun to have it on my computer screen. Their list of 30 designers they love is a must read, and the issue reveals great spaces to spend the lazy days of summer. I loved seeing Timothy Whealon's Long Island weekend escape shot last summer for this issue. He created a casual, easy to live in interior with global touches from embroidered pillows and blankets. Easy breezy!
