NEW FABRICS FROM HB HOME

Summer is here, well not officially, but almost. Why not add some summery touches at home?
HB Home has recently rolled out a wonderful collection of brightly printed fabrics. They kicked off their collection designs with furniture with Kindel, which I showed awhile back. The HB Luxe fabric collection, made of 100% Belgian linen, has a charming and graphic sensibility that incorporates florals and quatrefoils. I prefer the small block print repeat patterns, since they can work on upholstery, window treatments, pillows and beyond. They have a summery feeling and the color combinations help create a scheme to work around in a room. If you happen to be in Long Island, they are opening at 32o Wheatley Plaza in Greenvale, adding to their NYC, Westport and Greenwich CT, and East Hampton shop locations.

THE RUGS:
Another great addition, HB Home has started carrying a collection of cotton dhurrie rugs that add a casual ease to city and country settings.

A large scale Moorish looking flourish creates a strong graphic element on this rug.

A crisp bold awning stripe is a sure classic.

A zig zag diamond pattern brings pattern into a scheme.

An abstracted tight pattern can look like an animal print or a punchy organic pattern.

Intersecting star and geometric patterns pack a punch.
