IT'S BACK: MORE AMAZING JOHN DERIAN FOR TARGET

John Derian created an appreciation for olde world things like illustrations, charming scenes from days of yore, botanical studies, sweet sayings and sealife through his decoupage assortment of paperweights, plates, platters, lamps, desk accessories, wall hangings. He began his decoupage work in 1989, and since then, his empire of hand made accessories has grown, with two retail shops and now, his third collection for Target. The first one blew out of stores, and like this one, is available for a limited time. Taking classic design elements that were originally done on glass, they are recreated in melamine, ceramic and paper. I want just about everything in the collection, and love that the designs, stylistically, are true to the originals. Come September 5th, the frenzy will begin! The line will be available at select Target stores and Target.com. Save some for me....!

A Wooden Box in Blue Circle Marble paper, perfect for keeping an organized desk. Marbleized papers are oh so Italiano, and have a wonderful aged look.

Dinner Plates in Assorted Leaf prints, make great gifts for gardeners.

Salad Plates in Assorted Apple and Assorted Floral would look great in a wall arrangement.

The Three-Tier Tray in Dahlia would be great for showers and tea cakes. Pretty in pink.

The Small Square Tray in Flatware and Square Tray in Maze, one of my all time fave patterns.

A Cake Stand in Dahlia, again, great for a party and birthday, you can give it with the cake!

Ceramic Mugs in the Marble pattern are fantastic. Too bad I just got new mugs to complete my Home, James chinoiserie set. Christmas gifts!

A Wood Frame in Blue Lattice is super chic.

The House-Mouse Tray is so cute! I am just waiting for the mouse to cross the wide plank floor...

Storage Box in Blue and Brown Dotted Marble paper make great stationery storage and can be stacked looking terrific en masse. The price is sweeter than Il Papiro, that's for sure!

The 3-pc Mini Journal Set for quick jots and nice gifts.

Oh - the marbelized mugs are fabulous. They would be great for a summer beach house where you didn't want to have to worry about anything valuable.
