VINTAGE AND MODERN: FIND YOUR KIND

Shopping for antiques and vintage one of a kind finds has been made much easier with the dawn of e-commerce. Whether you are researching a particular furniture style or shopping for a specific piece, some online due diligence can save tons of time. One such site, VandM, hits a sweet spot when it comes to accessible pricing, offering an eclectic mix of dealers in furniture, accessories artwork and jewelery. From aspirational to approachable, there are finds for those just starting to collect as well as the seasoned interior designer. Having recently undergone a redesign and enriched content, the site allows you to be a vicarious window shopper, as well as look for what you actually need. Take your pick and search by style, dealer or product type, whatever gets you to the goods faster. Here are some favorite finds I uncovered when I spent some time on vandm:

Those are just so unique and timely pieces you have shown. They lend an unusual beauty to a room. I have painted the inside of my corner cabinet in red and display my blue and white collection in there. I love it!

Love the pieces you have featured. I love a home that mixes the old with the newer. I like a happy marriage of good pieces of furniture, it keeps the room from just being "scanned"...you actually stop and "study" a room that has depth. I just went to look at some of the items via the seller. The prices are reasonable. Wow. I'm off to furter investigate.
